O. Ducommun, Buchhändler, im Ruhestand seit 2019, 42 Jahre lang in diesem Beruf tätig. Als Lehrmeister und als Hauptfachlehrer für Buchhändlerlehrlinge während 10 Jahren tätig, begann ich mit der Erstellung eines Grundwortschatzes für das Buchwesen. Das Projekt wuchs schnell an. Zu diesem Zweck wurde eine Sammlung von Dokumenten mit Bezug zum Buch zusammengestellt. Sie wurde im Dezember 2018 dem Gutenbergmuseum, damals noch in Fribourg, mit einem doppelten Ziel übergeben: einerseits die Aufbewahrung der gesamten Dokumentation und der damit verbundenen Arbeit, andererseits die Bereitstellung für Forschende. Ein Teil der Sammlung wurde an die Stiftung Enter, Derendingen, weitergegeben.
