Event
Being informed and knowing the facts is essential for us. Accurate, diverse information is the prerequisite for political and social debates and for citizens' decision-making.
Reception and Check-in. At the reception, a video sets the mood for the exhibition. Then it's on to check-in, where you can log into the game with a badge. The exhibition is participatory, meaning you are actively involved! You can collect points throughout the exhibition and receive a press pass with your total score at the end.
Facts & Fake News. The game with the truth. Visitors can test their own media literacy by taking the media quiz or playing the two burger games. The infotainment area provides interesting facts about media and its usage in a playful manner.
The newsroom offers a special experience. It is designed as an escape room where visitors work as a team to research a journalistic story and publish an article, which is then evaluated based on journalistic criteria.
Media and Society. What moved Switzerland. This section covers 10 events that have shaped political and media discourse in Switzerland. The series begins with the 1959 vote on women's suffrage and ends with the Ukraine war.
Stories. The perspective of journalists. Media professionals share their experiences and reflect on the challenges and allure of their profession.
Check-out. This is where the badge, which records the collected points, is returned. The press pass with the achieved score is then printed.
Cost: The special exhibition is included in the day pass.
