In this role, you are responsible for the preparation of cold and hot dishes for the self-service restaurant and for event catering. You serve our guests directly at the buffet and advise them on catering at events. You work closely with the kitchen and event team. With a contemporary, creative offering, you establish the Enter Bistro in the market.

Main tasks

•    Participation in the menu concept design
•    Independent production and preparation of cold and hot dishes
•    Management of the self-service restaurant (approx. 100 seats) and event catering (up to 300 people)
•    Ensuring smooth daily operations and catering
•    Host at the front and contact person for all matters related to gastronomy
•    Perform and document cleaning tasks according to hygiene concept and self-control. Responsibility for compliance with hygiene and quality standards (HACCP)
•    Warehouse management
•    As a chef: purchasing and accounting, scheduling, leading the kitchen team (approx. 3 people)

You bring

•    Training as a cook with a federal certificate of competence (EFZ)
•    Enthusiasm for the role of host with an eye for detail
•    Well-groomed, friendly appearance, flexible and calm even in hectic situations
•    Organizational talent with a commercial flair
•    Customer-oriented personality with a joy for sales
•    Very good German skills (spoken and written); French and English are advantageous
•    Good user knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word/Excel/Outlook)
