Event Manager

The Enter Technikwelt in Derendingen Solothurn is the largest interactive museum in Switzerland for analog and digital technology, including a large restaurant, shop, event hall, auditorium, classroom, and 8000m² of exhibition space. Unique collections make the rapid development up to the present day tangible for all generations. Annually, 200 internal and external events and workshops create exciting platforms and bring interest groups together.

You will be responsible for marketing our event spaces, developing internal and external event concepts, advising interested parties, creating offers, organizing, and conducting events with a team.

Main Activities

• Contact person for all event-related inquiries (in person, by phone, email)
• Development of innovative event concepts for our event spaces
• Planning, marketing, organizing, and hosting events
• Providing creative input for finding new formats
• Group leadership role

You Bring

• At least 2 years of experience in event and project management
• Academic education with additional event training
• Enjoyment in the role of host and event marketer, well-groomed appearance
• Organizational talent, flexibility, independence, entrepreneurial thinking
• Very good German skills and confident communication in English
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• Residence in the greater Solothurn area
