Event Staff

The Enter Technikwelt in Derendingen Solothurn is the largest interactive museum in Switzerland for analog and digital technology, including a large restaurant, shop, event hall, auditorium, classroom, and 8000m² of exhibition space. Unique collections make the rapid development up to the present day tangible for all generations. Annually, 200 internal and external events and workshops create exciting platforms and bring interest groups together.

You will be responsible for marketing our event spaces, advising our customers/prospects, working on our internal and external events, advising prospects, creating offers, coordinating group tours, and assisting in the execution of events.

Main Activities

• Contact person for tours and events (in person, by phone, email)
• Planning, marketing, assisting in the organization and execution of events
• Participation in own event projects (flea markets, vehicle meetings, fairs)
• Providing creative input for finding new formats in Enter
• Creating offers and service billing, as well as coordination tasks
• Support in ongoing operations

You Bring

• Commercial training, preferably in the direction of gastronomy/hotel/event
• Good verbal and written expression in German
• Enjoy customer contact and the role of host/hostess, well-groomed appearance
• Flexible and service-oriented work style
• Enjoy working in a museum/event environment
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• Residence in the greater Solothurn area (20 km), ensuring a short commute
• Flexible for weekend work
