Media Technician (m/f/d)

We are looking for a creative and versatile individual who can handle both the graphic design and technical implementation of marketing projects. You are a media technician with an eye for design and the ability to visually present and implement content – from filming and photographing events to designing social media posts and implementing our print media.

Main Activities

• Create and design books for the ENTER publishing house
• Support in creating our magazine (HISTEC, published quarterly)
• Create and optimize visual content, including social media, website, presentations, and promotional materials
• Conduct photo and video shoots of exhibits, at trade shows and events, and edit the material for further use on various platforms
• Design compelling presentations and visual content for internal and external communication
• Design, content, and distribution of newsletters and mailings

You Bring

• Completed training as a media technician EFZ or in a similar field
• Very good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite design software, especially InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and Lightroom
• Experience in designing websites and online presences
• Experience with Meta Ads (Facebook, Instagram) and Google Ads, as well as a flair for designing effective advertisements for social media and digital channels, is an advantage.
• Creativity and a good sense for appealing visual content
• Good knowledge of photo and video editing
• Confident German language skills and enjoyment in creating texts
• Independent, structured working style and organizational talent
• High initiative, team spirit, and flexibility
• Enjoy working in a museum/event environment
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• Residence in the Greater Solothurn area (20 km), ensuring a short commute
• Flexible for weekend work
