The reasons for having your own solar system are varied. However, many cannot afford an expensive system or, due to living in a rented apartment, depend on electricity from the landlord. This is where the balcony PV system comes into play!
Such a system usually consists of one or two solar panels and is relatively easy for laypeople to install. This way you can make use of the sun on your own balcony and feed it into the grid for your own consumption. There are still some things to consider. This course is about learning more about building a balcony PV system.
