Premiere: Batmobile in Solothurn's old town

Anyone who walked through Solothurn's old town on Wednesday, 05.06., could hardly believe their eyes: The Batmobile "The Tumbler" from the Dark Knight trilogy was seen in the main street. And a few lucky ones met Batman himself.

On Wednesday, 05.06. at 8 PM, the Palace Cinema in Solothurn's old town showed THE DARK KNIGHT by Christopher Nolan from 2008. The brilliant direction in the best Nolan manner and one of the best Jokers played by Heath Ledger make the second part of the "Dark Knight" trilogy the best Batman ever for many fans.

However, the action began even before the film started: In front of the cinema, right in the middle of Solothurn's old town, Batman himself parked his Batmobile "The Tumbler" - the faithful, unique in Europe, and fully functional vehicle from the film. Although Batman did not arrive at the possible top speed of 180km/h, those who were in the right place at the right time could catch a picture with him. And for everyone else, the vehicle was available for a selfie until 10 PM against the unique backdrop of St. Ursen Cathedral.
