Workshop: 3D Drawing with FreeCAD – Advanced course

Have you attended the basic course in drawing with FreeCAD and now want to learn even more? Then you are in the right place! The advanced FreeCAD course focuses on learning extended features of the software that there was no room for in the basic course. It is assumed that you have already spent some time with FreeCAD and know the basic functions. In one evening we will look at additional cool features that will make working on your designs easier.

• Mirror objects
• Apply repeating patterns in a circle or rectangle
• 3D "Revolve" operation to create round objects
• Insert text onto 3D objects
• Virtually assemble multi-part objects
• Create drawings of 3D objects for, e.g., carpentry
• Create sheet metal parts to order sheets on the online platform Blexon
