A new OTM for the Mittelland

Since the end of the OTM Fribourg – or: relocation to Western Switzerland – the Mittelland has been lacking oldtimer parts markets. Although the major events, such as the Swiss Classic World or Old-Wheels Biel/Bienne, have their own parts markets, there is hardly anything larger in the Mittelland region besides Sam’s OTM in Brunegg in the canton of Aargau. Felix Kunz, director and founder of the Enter Technikwelt Solothurn, wants to change this. For the first time, he is organizing the "Enter OTM" on September 13, 2025, in Derendingen near Solothurn. Kunz is convinced that he is meeting a need in the scene: "Since the end of the OTM Fribourg, there has been no proper oldtimer parts market in the Mittelland. We want to fill this gap."

The names Felix Kunz and Enter Technikwelt are not unknown in the scene. Kunz himself is a passionate oldtimer driver, repairing and restoring his classic vehicles in his workshop in Derendingen. He knows what it means to obtain spare parts for an oldtimer. It is often: tedious. "For old cars, it is often difficult to get the needed parts. Despite the internet, nothing beats the parts markets!" Enter offers more than enough space as an event location – and with the technology museum, also the right environment for an OTM. From spare parts for oldtimers to literature, accessories, and model cars, the entire OTM-typical range will be offered in Derendingen.
